Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Frosted Gold 34 mm Model

Audemars Piguet, a Swiss brand, has introduced the Royal Oak Frosted Gold new 34 mm model to his eponymous collection. The 34mm Royal Oak has a frosted white gold surfacing and features a glacial blue dial.

Teamwork with Bucci

To begin with, the Frosted Gold method for jewelry appeared in 2016 in partnership with C. Bucci, the jewelry designer from Italy. The timepiece has the Tapisserie dial in shades of blue.  The designer used 18-carat white gold as the material. This one-of-a-kind combination honors the maker’s craftsmanship. 


The matte frosted case contrasts well with the polished watch parts. The blueish soft dial color gently interacts with light. It has a “Grande Tapisserie” design. Besides, its golden hour-markers and hands match the case. And at last, the 34 mm diameter provides an even more elegant look.

Moreover, the glare-proofed glass case back reveals the Calibre 5800 with an oscillating weight made of rose gold. The piece has a power reserve of 50 hours.

Technique and price

An antique jewelry method inspired the frosted finish of the item. In addition, a tool with a diamond tip was used to produce tiny elements on the gold surface, creating a sparkling look comparable to that of precious gems.

 The new 34 mm model has a selling price of EUR 49,800.
