Fruit juice is frequently thought to be beneficial to one’s health. While juice does include antioxidants and vitamin C, it also contains a lot of sugar. Fruit juice, surprisingly, has just as much sugar as sugary drinks, if not more.
Substitution: Pomegranate and blueberry juices, for example, have been shown to have health benefits despite their sugar content. However, they should only be used as a supplement on occasion and not as a regular part of your diet.
