The Most Expensive Comb in the World Review

The Most Expensive Comb in the World

Tomas Veres provides some exquisite and attractive hair combs made of excellent materials for ladies to arrange their hair discreetly when they are out.

History

Tomas Veres, a well-to-do businessman from Slovakia, moved to Paris in the nineteenth century. Here he met Rosa, his beloved wife. Tomas was on the lookout for the ideal present for her. Rosa adored lovely things. That’s when he had the idea to make a unique piece of jewelry only for Rosa and her lovely long hair.

His grandson chose to start the Tomas Veres brand at the turn of the century, paying homage to his grandfather’s legacy offering ladies their magnificent and distinctive engraved comb.

The Collection

Rosa’s renowned hair comb inspired this initial collection. The Pantheon’s design has also influenced it. The limited-edition luxury combs made of precious metals such as rose or yellow gold, and sterling silver have been manufactured by the firm. The hair combs come with a beautiful case from ostrich leather. Each piece is handcrafted in Italy by skilled artisans and has a serial number.

The Pantheon comb line by Tomas Veres offers simple 130mm by 35mm combs in a variety of materials. Prices for sterling silver and rhodium-plated combs start at $1,180 and quickly rise to $9,700 for yellow and pink gold variants.

You’re not only combing your hair with this comb; you’re also stylishly branding your hair. It is unquestionably a priceless treasure for anyone who dares to possess it.
