This is a compilation of all issues of the iconic comic book. This edition provides an excellent chance to analyze the evolution of Zap, with reference to artists’ engagement and development of content and design.
Zap Comix
Zap Comix depicts the history of visual art, one that goes opposed to both the prevalence of conceptual contemporary art and conventional comics. These comic series have a great value in terms of both heritage and aesthetics.
Inside the collection
All existed issues of Zap are collected in this compilation. This set includes every episode produced. It also features the unpublished issue. All of them were taken from negatives and digitized. To tell the truth, these four books are magnificent.
The fifth and final book offers a look back. Patrick Rosenkranz assembled an oral history, author biographies, archive images, and much more in it. The oral history focuses on the most important events of Zap’s life.
