Sheldrake Glasses Review
Oliver Peoples, an American premium eyewear brand, has released a new foldable version of its iconic Sheldrake sunglasses.
History
Andy Warhol was the owner of a large collection of glasses: sunglasses and ordinary ones, metal, plastic, classic, and avant-garde. Sheldrake’s collection has been inspired by Andy Warhol’s glasses. It represents modern analogs of glass frames “a la Warhol”.
New version
The Sheldrake 1950 is the name of the updated variant. The new model has the classic silhouette of the original. Moreover, it also features a unique folding mechanism.
Wearers may fold down their glasses into a compact shape that fits in the small pocket of a bag, or a jacket thanks to the new mechanism. The updated glasses also have mineral glass lenses.
Options and availability
Customers will be able to select from a range of frames. For example, they can choose Blue Polar and Black. All of them are available with matching lenses. The freshly released Sheldrake 1950 is presently available for $551 on the brand’s website.
In addition, prescription lenses are available in certain versions. All orders come with free shipping and returns from the manufacturer. This season, you may also get a gift box with every purchase of Oliver Peoples glasses.
