Lotus Tourbillon Review
Kross Studio opened its boutique at the end of 2020. Though the brand is young it has already established recognizable features. Lately, in collaboration with Alain Silberstein and released the new Lotus Tourbillon.
Design
The iconic 45mm diamond-like carbon titanium casing is the same as in previous company’s items. As always, it provides the watch with a sleek and modern appearance.
Furthermore, a D-ring crown on the sapphire display case back controls the winding and setting operation.
Power
The Kross Studio‘s KS7000 tourbillon movement powers the Lotus Tourbillon. Also, one of its wheels has a fun red polka dots design. The movement has a 120-hour power reserve.
Strap and packaging
On one hand, the watch is outfitted with a pair of plain black rubber and leather straps to finish the tourbillon’s minimalist look. The packaging, on the other hand, is not simple at all. It is a piece of art, with Silberstein’s linear forms in bright futuristic colors.
Availability and price
The Tourbillon is a limited edition, as well as one of the most sophisticated and mature aesthetic items from Kross Studio. Having been limited to only 18 pieces, it is available today for $80,000. You can get additional information on the item here.
